PSP – Your PlayStation on the Go

For more than a decade, it can be said that Sony has been on the lead with its game consoles that have won the hearts of gamers of all ages. With the PlayStation original, PlayStation 1, 2 and 3, the world has been introduced to a series of great home game consoles that have changed the entire concept of modern gaming. The PlayStation series have proven that this sophisticated and graphic console concept made a worldwide hit by Sony can be actually be made portable. We have waited for it to come true and with the PlayStation Portable more commonly known as thePSP, the dream had come true.

The PSP carries the top graphic quality of the PlayStation 2 in pocket size. It seemed to be an answer to the increasing demand for Sony to enter the portable market and also to have a portable console at par of better that Nintendo’s DS and GameBoy.

Primarily, the PSP is a gaming device. But then it also has the capability to play videos and music files in UMD form so it is said to be an entire entertainment system in itself. All these contribute to the fact that playing the PSP provides full gaming experience even in a small, pocket-sized gaming device. This particular handheldconsole is praised in reviews as it uses 333MHz processor and also comes with 32MB of built-in memory and 4MB of DRAM.

The PSP is offered in the market in bundles and the most famous of which includes the console itself, a battery and an AC adapter.
